- I have known and worked with Donald Warne, MD, MPH for 12 years. I have attended his conferences on American Indian Health Policy which helped me understand the failed promises of the US government when it comes to Indians health.
- If you're a Native student are you interested in becoming a healthcare worker?
- As someone who has been privileged to a good education, I feel an urge to contribute my skills and knowledge to situations where injustice has created unnecessary suffering.
Throughout the research of this film, I have been haunted by the realization that my great, great grandfathers and uncles had to have taken their land from Indians. I now know why the road by their land that to this day is named, "White Settlement."
- Are there programs in your community that actively engage teens?
- Yes, Santa Fe has a wonderful place called Warehouse 21. I don't know if Indian kids participate in it, or not.
I recently relocated to Mexico and have yet to understand if there's a suicide crisis. Given that historical trauma is generational, the descendants of the local tribes are probably experiencing suicides. I pray not.

My father was adopted by Juniper Old Person in Great Falls in '58 or '59. His son is Earl Old Person and I am sure your friend knows him.
So, my Dad was given the name "Old Person" as well. I was there - it was a memorable day for a young girl. I appreciated being so accepted (as did my Father), particularly by Charlie 2 Guns White Calf who turned 100! I experienced the thread that connected all of us and it enriched my life deeply. Thanks for inviting me to join....it looks like there is lots of great information...especially the healing from intergenerational healing....as I just discovered that my grandfather is trying to get in touch with me to help clear some negativity in my ancestral line beginning with him....very interesting...and once that can be accomplished, I think things can shift for me and my entire family line. I hope you don't have much trouble learning the new program you are ordering. When the DVD is ready send it when you can. I checked out my site and I think you should be able to sign in. You have to fill out all the questions and the code the site provides you is case sensitive. Give it another try when you can.
